Library Presentations
2009 Be Creative!

Join us at your local library

Every year The Wildlife Company works with the California State Library (CSL) system to offer exciting and unique Wild Animal presentations and lectures for children of all ages. The California State Library (CSL) in cooperation with the California Library Association (CLA) have joined the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) and their Summer Reading Program.

Every year a new theme is created and a fun and exciting statewide series of programs are put together.

Wildlife Company brings animals and creativity to the CSLP

This year we are very excited about the "Be Creative @ Your Library" theme and we have the perfect program. Our "Habitats and Adaptations" program lets you, the librarian, be the creative one! You'll have the choice of 6 animal ambassadors from around the world and we'll present an interactive program focusing on the habitats the animals come from as well as the adaptations they have to live there!

Habitats and Adaptions

Animals have jobs and houses too! Explore the different habitats animals live in, the adaptations that they need to help them live there, and what jobs they do to help that habitat grow and flourish.

Choose 6 animals!
Hissing Cockroaches and Millipedes OR Tarantula
American Alligator OR Green Iguana
Boa Constrictor OR Australian Carpet Python
Severe Macaw OR Toad
Hedgehog OR Chinchilla
Kinkajou OR Coatimundi
